Stones Against the Mirror: Friendship in the time of the South African struggle
“Throw a clatter of memories at the mirror of your life and watch as the pieces scatter on the ground. There is no pattern. They glint in the shadows, demanding inspection, as you hesitate to choose which one you’ll pick up first. Some pieces choose themselves, however much you try to avoid them.”
Hugh Lewin’s courageous and sensitive, Stones Against the Mirror: Friendship in the time of the South African Struggle, adds a new dimension to the archive of struggle literature. Dealing courageously and sensitively with the issues of friendship, betrayal and forgiveness, this book foregrounds the often marginalised contribution of young white South Africans to the broader liberation movement with raw honesty.
A full review and an account of the interview with Lewin will be posted on this website shortly,

I am glad there is website like this. I have looked all over for Blues Ntaka’s music and it seems as if he is more popular overseas than locally. Would you direct me to any place where I can buy his music?
