Journal of International Organisations Studies
The team is particularly interested in contributions focussing on IOs in Africa and the Arab world.
As the “Arab Spring” has shown, regional organisations such as the African Union or the Arab League play a role in addressing issues of regional concern.
Despite this web of IOs little is known about governance, integration or the nature of IOs in this region.
JIOS seeks to address this with a special issue on inter-governmental organisations in Africa and the Middle East.
The Journal of International Organizations Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published twice annually by the UN Studies Association in cooperation with Brigham Young University.
