Launch of an on-line records management forum

COR Concepts is proud to sponsor and launch an on-line records management forum. The COR Concepts have taken this initiative to support the various forums and role-players in the industry.  It is designed to be a place where all practitioners in the document and records management field can participate in a vendor-neutral environment. It is also not specifically aligned to any of the formal forums (SASA, SARMAF, Corporate Records Forum, CAF, LIASA), so hopefully the members of CAF will see a cross sharing of ideas and build up a pool expertise to enhance our professionalism.

The COR Concepts have launched the forum and started a few initial sub-forums to get the ball rolling.  Without participation it will remain static and add no value.

To this end COR Concepts are requesting that you visit the site to satisfy yourself as to its intent, and if comfortable, please would you write an e-mail to your members requesting that they join and actively participate. In the light of the various initiatives that are taking place at the moment (NARS enquiry into the state of training in the industry, and the SABS/forums initiative), CAF members I believe it will be a great place to pool our common resources.  At the moment there are no documents (or other resources) on the site but these will be easily and quickly added. In future it is anticipated that training suppliers can put up calendars of events, as can the various forums.
